On July 5th, 2020, the Working Wardrobes team moved into our Career Success Center in Santa Ana. Five months after the devastating fire that destroyed Working Wardrobes’ Kettering St. headquarters, the team was eager to settle in and have a new place to call “home.” Over the past three years, the Career Success Center has become a one-stop shop for community members seeking support on their journeys to gainful employment. From private spaces for 1:1 Job Coaching and Career Navigation, to free access to the internet and computers, to our state-of-the-art Wardrobing Department, the Career Success Center has functioned as a productive and empowering space for our clients and staff. And, as we impart to our clients, there is always room for improvement!
Optimizing our Space
Working Wardrobes had the opportunity to remodel the Career Success Center for two main purposes:
To optimize the layout of our office so that the Client Services team and our community spaces are closer together, improving the client experience.
To create an even more collaborative workspace and, in the process, save money so that we can spend more on our mission and less on overhead!
In doing so, we are able to create a more seamless and supportive environment for Working Wardrobes clients to overcome their barriers to employment. And, with reduced overhead costs, your support goes even further to transform jobseekers’ lives.
