Working Wardrobes is proud to share that our CEO, Bonni Pomush, was recognized as a 2026 Women of Distinction Honoree at this year’s Women of Distinction event, hosted by Senator Thomas J. Umberg of Senate District 34 and his team.
The evening brought together an extraordinary group of women leaders from across Orange County whose work is creating meaningful change in their communities. Honorees represented a wide range of sectors, including advocacy, arts and culture, business, education, health services, nonprofit, public safety, and volunteerism. The ballroom was filled with energy, celebration, and a shared sense of purpose as each honoree was recognized for her impact. Michelle Montgomery, Working Wardrobes’ Donor Engagement Officer, had the honor of accepting the award on Bonni’s behalf.

The event also recognized Gloria Alvarado, Executive Director of the Orange County Labor Federation, as the 2026 Woman of the Year. It was an inspiring evening that celebrated women whose leadership is making a lasting difference across Orange County.
