Working Wardrobes proudly announces the receipt of the prestigious Neighborhood Builders® grant from Bank of America. The grant, totaling $200,000 over two years, signifies a transformative boon that will significantly bolster our capacity to serve clients and the community.
This grant, exclusive and invite-only, is a testament to the impactful work undertaken by a select group of nonprofits across the nation. Out of numerous applicants, only 104 organizations, including Working Wardrobes, were chosen as Neighborhood Builders. This recognition underscores our commitment to helping people overcome barriers to gainful employment.
At Working Wardrobes, our mission aligns seamlessly with the objectives of the Neighborhood Builders program. As the cost of living continues to surge, we remain steadfast in our dedication to breaking down barriers hindering individuals from securing gainful employment. Through an array of comprehensive services including career navigation, job preparation workshops, computer skills training, and professional wardrobing, we equip individuals with the tools and confidence essential for success in today’s competitive job market.
