Meet Ricky
Ricky’s path with Working Wardrobes wasn’t easy. After relocating to California through a recovery program, he faced unfamiliar ground—no certifications, no transportation, and severe housing instability, moving three times in a few months. Still, he showed up daily to job search, attend workshops, and chip away at every barrier.
After five months, his persistence paid off: Ricky landed a Heavy Equipment Operator role with a private contractor supporting the Los Angeles fire cleanup—becoming the highest-paid client on record at Working Wardrobes.
