Working Wardrobes is honored to be among the 2026 nonprofit partners selected to receive grant funding from the Mazda Foundation (USA), Inc., a pillar of community philanthropy and long-term support across food security, education, and workforce development.

The Mazda Foundation recently announced a total of $586,361 in grant funding to support nine nonprofit organizations delivering critical services in communities where Mazda employees live and work. This year’s investments reinforce the Foundation’s dedication to creating opportunity, strengthening community resilience, and fostering meaningful, long-standing partnerships with mission-aligned organizations like Working Wardrobes.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Mazda Foundation to enhance workforce development programs that help individuals build confidence, develop skills, and secure gainful employment,” said Bonni Pomush, CEO at Working Wardrobes. “This generous grant enables us to deepen our impact and extend pathways to economic independence for those we serve.”

For more than 30 years, the Mazda Foundation has invested in community-centered solutions that create lasting opportunity. The 2026 grant cycle celebrates a mix of legacy partners and new collaborations across the Foundation’s focus areas, including long-standing support for food security programs and new investments in expanding STEM and education pathways.

Working Wardrobes joins this cohort as part of Mazda Foundation’s workforce development portfolio. These funds will support programs designed to equip job seekers with the training, tools, and personalized support they need to navigate today’s labor market, advance their careers, and achieve long-term success.

The Mazda Foundation’s approach emphasizes not only financial investment but also community engagement: many Mazda employees contribute their time through volunteer service, strengthening connections between corporate partners and the communities they serve.
