Working Wardrobes is proud to welcome Laura Geraghty to our Board of Directors.
Laura serves as Vice President of Operations and Chief Charity Officer at Conscientious Capital, where she combines her expertise in finance, strategy, and philanthropy to drive meaningful impact. She holds a degree in International and Global Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and earned her MBA with an emphasis in Finance from Loyola Marymount University.
Her professional background includes experience in financial consulting, municipal bonds at Public Resources Advisory Group, and asset management at Payden & Rygel. She also holds the Series 50 Municipal Advisor certification. Having lived and worked around the world, Laura brings a global perspective and thoughtful leadership approach to every role she takes on.
At Conscientious Capital, Laura has championed charitable initiatives that have generated more than $300,000 in donations to nonprofit organizations. Through this work, she has developed a deep appreciation for mission-driven organizations and the power of community partnerships to create lasting change.
Laura is no stranger to Working Wardrobes. Prior to joining the Board of Directors, she served on the planning committee for The Power Within, helping bring together community leaders, supporters, and changemakers to celebrate resilience, leadership, and opportunity. She has also been an engaged supporter of Working Wardrobes through participation in events and advocacy for our mission.
Her passion for service, strategic mindset, and commitment to creating opportunities for others make her a valuable addition to our board as we continue empowering people overcoming barriers to gainful employment.
Outside of work, Laura is an accomplished endurance athlete, marathon runner, and open water swimmer. She also completed a full Ironman competition in Sacramento, California.
