Working Wardrobes is proud to announce the return of its signature Power Up for Success MilSpouse Career & Hiring Symposium, taking place on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the Pacific Views Event Center aboard Camp Pendleton.
In partnership with the Family Member Employment Assistance Program (FMEAP), this one-day experience is designed to empower military spouses with the tools, confidence, and support they need to successfully enter or re-enter the workforce. Through professional attire, one-on-one coaching, and meaningful connections, Power Up for Success helps participants show up prepared — and be seen for their potential.
The impact of this model is proven. At last year’s Camp Pendleton event, 45 percent of participating military spouses received conditional job offers, a powerful outcome that underscored the importance of preparation, dignity, and community support. For many participants, the experience marked a turning point — restoring confidence and opening doors to economic stability and career advancement.
This year, Working Wardrobes expects to serve 60–75 military spouses, continuing its commitment to addressing the unique employment barriers faced by military families, including frequent relocations, career disruptions, and limited access to professional networks.

Volunteer Engagement: Powering the Experience
Volunteers are at the heart of Power Up for Success. Serving as Personal Stylists, volunteers work directly with participants to select professional attire and offer encouragement as spouses prepare for interviews and networking opportunities. This hands-on role provides volunteers with a meaningful, client-facing way to be part of a transformational experience.
Volunteer registration is open now, with a two-step registration and required security clearance due to the event’s location on a military installation. Interested volunteers are encouraged to register by Wednesday, April 1, 2026, as space is limited.
Sponsor Engagement: Powering Client Participation
Sponsorship plays a critical role in making Power Up for Success possible. Each sponsorship directly empowers a client’s participation, underwriting the cost of professional attire, career coaching, workforce readiness support, and the on-site experience that allows military spouses to engage with confidence.
Rather than simply funding an event, sponsors are investing in real, individual outcomes — helping clients move forward with dignity and purpose. Sponsorship opportunities also include the chance for sponsor representatives to volunteer alongside participants, creating authentic connections and shared impact.
From supporting a single client’s transformation to funding a cohort of participants, sponsorship ensures that no military spouse is turned away due to cost — and that every participant has access to the resources they need to succeed.
Looking Ahead
With the proven success of previous years and the continued support of dedicated volunteers and sponsors, Working Wardrobes looks forward to delivering another impactful Power Up for Success experience at Camp Pendleton.
Together, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners are helping military spouses not just prepare for work — but step confidently into their next chapter.
