When Kevin graduated from high school, he faced an uncertain path ahead. At just 20 years old, he was unemployed and experiencing housing insecurity. Determined to build a better future, he enrolled in Working Wardrobes SA YSPN Young Adult Program in December 2025.
Through Working Wardrobes, Kevin strengthened his resume, practiced interviewing, and developed the confidence and professional skills needed to enter the workforce. His dedication paid off when he was hired as a Production Assistant with a machinist company at the end of March.
For many, landing a job is the finish line. For Kevin, it was just the beginning.
Even after securing employment, Kevin continued returning to Working Wardrobes workshops to sharpen his skills and prepare for future opportunities. Pictured here participating in a mock interview, Kevin demonstrates his commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. He understood that investing in himself would open even more doors.
That commitment has already paid off. After just two months on the job, Kevin is now being trained to advance into a CNC Machine Operator role, taking another important step in building a long-term career.
Kevin’s journey is a powerful reminder that success isn’t just about finding a job—it’s about continuing to learn, grow, and build confidence along the way. At Working Wardrobes, we’re proud to support our clients long after they’re hired, helping them develop the skills they need to thrive in meaningful employment and beyond.
