Meet Crystal

When Crystal came to Working Wardrobes, she was staying in a sober living facility and searching for a fresh start. She hadn’t worked in some time and felt unsure about her next step. Through her own journey and her family’s experiences, she felt pulled in a few directions — welding, auto mechanics, or drug and alcohol counseling.

With guidance and encouragement from her career coaches and career navigator, Crystal chose to lean into her desire to give back. She decided to pursue a path in recovery services, supporting others who were walking a similar road.

Through Working Wardrobes, Crystal earned her Registered Alcohol & Drug Technician certification and was quickly hired at a recovery facility. After getting settled in her new role, she was able to move into her own place and is now proudly living independently in Anaheim — supporting others in recovery with empathy, strength, and hope.
