Meet Alberto

Alberto came to Working Wardrobes determined to build a better future.

Before joining the program, he was working as a tree trimmer. But after a serious fall on the job left him with a fractured tibia, his path forward suddenly changed—requiring surgery and ongoing physical therapy.

Even in the face of that setback, Alberto stayed focused on what came next.

With the support of Working Wardrobes, he began rebuilding. Through career coaching, he strengthened his resume and explored new opportunities while continuing to work toward his high school diploma. He also joined our Work Experience (WEX) Program, where he now supports the front desk—gaining hands-on experience, building confidence, and developing essential professional skills.

Today, Alberto is looking ahead with a renewed sense of purpose. He is working toward certification as an arborist, with the long-term goal of starting his own business.

Through it all, Alberto has shown resilience, determination, and a commitment to moving forward—one step at a time.
