Meet Loretta Wright, our Staff Accountant. Now a year into her role at Working Wardrobes, Loretta is a steady financial hand—processing bills, receipts, and invoices and compiling the reports that keep our financial picture clear and accurate. She joined us with a clear goal: “I wanted to work at a non-profit where I could expand my accounting skills in full-cycle AP and AR,” she shares. AP (Accounts Payable) involves managing the money the organization owes to vendors and service providers, while AR (Accounts Receivable) focuses on tracking the funds that come in from donors, partners, and other sources. Loretta keeps both sides balanced with precision and care.
What she loves most here is the people and culture: “The environment and people are amazing!” And beyond the spreadsheets, Loretta is a true morale-booster—she fills the office with festive décor and surprises the team with thoughtful treats that make our workplace feel warm, welcoming, and connected.
Outside of finance, she’s keeping up a 1,000+ day Duolingo streak as she learns French for an upcoming vacation. Looking ahead, she’s most excited for the day we’re all under one roof with the Donation Center—making collaboration easier and creating a smoother, more supportive experience for clients and volunteers alike.
