We’re excited to announce that Kim Shepherd will serve as the emcee for Working Wardrobes’ inaugural The Power Within Luncheon—an inspiring afternoon dedicated to celebrating confidence, purpose, and the power of opportunity.

Kim is a leader in both the business world and in our community. She is the former CEO of Decision Toolbox, where she served for 18 years, and later became the Chairwoman of Engage2Excel. A recognized thought leader in the HR space, Kim is a regular speaker at national and regional events and has been honored by organizations across the country for her leadership and innovation.

Kim’s commitment to giving back has been a hallmark of her career. Under her leadership, Decision Toolbox made significant philanthropic contributions to organizations including Working Wardrobes, Habitat for Humanity, The American Cancer Society, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, JDRF, Susan G. Komen Foundation, and disaster relief efforts.

A dedicated community advocate, Kim has served on the boards of Working Wardrobes and Girls Inc. of Orange County and currently serves on the board of Habitat for Humanity of Orange County. She also serves as a Senior Fellow of The Conference Board.

Kim has received numerous accolades, including being named NAWBO Orange County’s Innovator of the Year, and earning national recognition as Enterprising Entrepreneur of the Year, as well as the Family Matters Award.

Before her 20 years in the human capital industry, Kim was a TV and foreign correspondent, bringing a compelling storytelling presence and stage experience that will make her an incredible guide for this special event.
