Hector Grajeda’s journey with Working Wardrobes came full circle. After receiving support as a participant, he was inspired by the compassion and care of the team, so much so that when a position opened up, he jumped at the chance to give back. Now, as a Veteran Behavioral Health Peer Navigator, Hector is helping fellow Veterans overcome the same barriers he once faced.

One of Liz’s most memorable experiences was helping a young man who had recently been released from prison and was preparing to start over. Liz helped him select a suit, shirt, tie, and shoes, assuring him that he was absolutely worthy of this opportunity. “He left knowing Working Wardrobes was behind him,” she shared. “That’s what we do—we help people see their potential.”
