What inspired you to join Working Wardrobes?

As a former client of Working Wardrobes, I knew I wanted to give back to our community—with dignity—just as Working Wardrobes did for me during the darkest time of my life.

What do you enjoy most about your work here?

I love our culture. I also enjoy seeing our clients’ joy and pride when they land a job or earn the certificate they’ve been working so hard for.

Describe a memorable moment or project you’ve been part of at Working Wardrobes:

Recently, we had a client who desperately needed work but didn’t want to settle for just any job—he was passionate about getting into construction, either with a general contractor or a union. We were reviewing his training options when he received a call. It was from an employer he had interviewed with the day before—and he got the job! His tears of frustration turned into tears of happiness. We all cried with him. Then he started worrying—he didn’t have the boots, tools, or clothes he needed. We got his sizes, and when he came back later that day to collect everything he needed, we cried again.

What’s a fun fact about you that most people don’t know?

I love to read. In 2024, I read 40 books, and my goal is to beat that in 2025. So far—it’s only January—I’ve already read three!
