Every veteran deserves the opportunity to build a fulfilling life after service. DAV Charitable Service Trust helps make that possible by supporting organizations across the country that address the needs of veterans and their families.

Established in 1986, the Trust works to empower veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. Its grants support programs serving ill and injured veterans, including physical and psychological rehabilitation, assistance for veterans experiencing homelessness, and resources for families and caregivers. Through these investments, the Trust helps connect veterans with practical support in their communities.

Here at Working Wardrobes, that commitment is reflected in an $18,000 grant awarded in March 2026 to support our veterans services. This funding helps us provide personalized career support as veterans work toward meaningful employment and greater stability.

The transition to civilian employment can involve translating military experience into language employers understand, navigating unfamiliar hiring processes, and finding a new professional direction. Our team helps veterans recognize their strengths and develop a plan that reflects their experience and goals.

Through one-on-one career coaching, resume assistance, and interview preparation, veterans build the tools to communicate their qualifications and approach their job search with confidence. Professional wardrobe services help them feel prepared for interviews and new opportunities, while encouragement and guidance remind them they have a team in their corner.

The Trust’s investment supports this personal approach to career readiness, helping veterans take meaningful steps toward their next chapter.

Thank you, DAV Charitable Service Trust, for investing in those who have served and helping Working Wardrobes turn career goals into opportunities.
