For Jennifer Lunde, legacy giving is about deciding what you want your impact to look like long after today. Her connection to Working Wardrobes begins with its founder, Jerri Rosen, and the mission Jerri worked so passionately to build.

Jennifer has seen that impact firsthand. She has watched confidence return to the men, women, and youth served by Working Wardrobes and seen how that transformation can extend beyond one person to their family and community.

Turning an Unexpected Experience Into a Plan for the Future
Legacy planning became especially personal for Jennifer in 2019, when her stepfather passed away unexpectedly. Her mother had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s the year before, and Jennifer suddenly found herself navigating the complexities of managing an estate. The experience prompted her to get her mother’s affairs in order and, soon afterward, begin planning for her own future.
“As I thought about where I wanted my hard work, energy, passion, and impact to go, I knew a portion had to go directly toward helping others,” she said. “I want to leave the world a better place, and I know Working Wardrobes does just that.”
Including Working Wardrobes in her legacy plans became a way to help ensure the impact she sees today can continue for years to come.
Creating a Ripple Effect for Generations
Jennifer hopes her legacy gift will provide more than financial support. She hopes it will help give people confidence, dignity, hope, independence, and self-esteem as they work toward a brighter future.
“The more people we can empower with those qualities, the better off we all are,” she said.
