Working Wardrobes is proud to announce the launch of a brand-new signature event dedicated to celebrating Orange County’s veteran community and the employers, organizations, and leaders who champion their success.

Valor & Vision: The Orange County Veterans Leadership Breakfast

Recognizing Service. Advancing Leadership. Inspiring Opportunity.

Taking place on August 21, 2026 at the Pacific Club, Valor & Vision will bring together veterans, business leaders, community partners, and advocates for a powerful morning of storytelling, recognition, and connection.

This high-impact breakfast and awards celebration was created to honor the men and women who continue to lead and serve long after their military careers end — while also spotlighting companies and community leaders creating meaningful pathways for veteran success.

At Working Wardrobes, we know the transition from military service to civilian careers can come with unique challenges. Through career coaching, workforce readiness support, professional wardrobing, and community connection, we are committed to helping veterans build confidence, purpose, and long-term stability. Valor & Vision is an extension of that commitment.

As part of the inaugural event, we are excited to officially open nominations for the 2026 Valor & Vision Awards.

Award categories include:

  • Veteran of the Year — recognizing a veteran who exemplifies leadership, integrity, and continued service within their profession and community.
  • The Next Mission Award — honoring a recently transitioned veteran who demonstrates resilience, growth, and early career success.
  • Trailblazer Award — celebrating a veteran who is forging new paths within their industry and advancing veteran representation in the workforce.
  • Quilt of Valor Honor — a deeply personal Working Wardrobes tradition recognizing veterans whose stories, resilience, and sacrifices deserve to be seen, honored, and remembered.
  • Veteran Employer Champion — honoring a company or organization that demonstrates exceptional commitment to hiring, supporting, and advancing veterans.
  • Veteran Community Impact Partner — recognizing a nonprofit or community organization creating meaningful support systems and opportunities for veterans.
  • Veteran Civic Leadership Award — celebrating an elected official, city, or municipal initiative that has gone above and beyond to support veterans through impactful leadership, programs, and advocacy.

Valor & Vision is more than an awards event — it is an opportunity to elevate stories of courage, resilience, leadership, and continued service throughout Orange County.

We invite the community to help us recognize the veterans and organizations making a lasting impact.

Award nominations are now open through June 15, 2026.
