The sold-out program highlighted how mission-driven organizations are adapting to meet modern challenges—and how their momentum is shaping the future of the region.

Jerome’s Journey: From Shelter to Stability

When Jerome first walked through our doors, he was living in a homeless shelter with his partner and children—determined to build a better future. With the support of his career navigator, he accessed the critical resources his family needed and began working toward his career goals. His hard work paid off when he landed a full-time job cleaning up after the Los Angeles fires. The work was physically demanding, but Jerome tackled it with grit and gratitude. Today, Jerome is thriving—steadily employed, exploring new housing options, and filled with hope. He credits Working Wardrobes with helping him rebuild his life with dignity.
