Liz Stevens

Since August 2021, Liz Stevens has been bringing heart, style, and inspiration to Working Wardrobes as a volunteer Personal Stylist. Each time she arrives, Liz ensures the styling floor is client-ready—from organizing dressing rooms and tagging new clothing to making sure every item reflects the dignity and professionalism our clients deserve.

But Liz’s favorite part? The one-on-one experience of helping someone find the perfect outfit for their next chapter. “I love clothes and fashion,” she says, “and I’m happy to bring that knowledge to my clients to create a flattering and professional look.”

One of Liz’s most memorable experiences was helping a young man recently released from prison who was preparing to start over. He was overwhelmed with emotion, surprised that an organization like Working Wardrobes would support him so fully. Liz helped him select a suit, shirt, tie, and shoes, assuring him that he was absolutely worthy of this opportunity. “He left knowing Working Wardrobes was behind him,” she shared. “That’s what we do—we help people see their potential.”

Liz also cherishes the community of volunteers, especially working alongside Adrianna and her co-volunteer Susan. She’s proud of moments like representing Working Wardrobes during a FOX 11 news segment—and yes, even meeting Bob Costas!

With a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a home filled with her own paintings, Liz is an artist through and through. She spent 12 years as the head art volunteer at Salem Lutheran School and is currently working on a painting of her son’s wedding trellis and ocean view from their ceremony in Hawaii.

Looking ahead, Liz is excited to see Working Wardrobes expand into more programs like Simon Scholars and Sunburst Academy. “Supporting young people to dream big and achieve more is so powerful. I can’t wait to see how we grow.”
