One Outfit at a Time: How You Can Empower Young Futures – July Volunteer Opportunities

At Working Wardrobes, we believe in more than just clothing people for interviews—we believe in restoring dignity, building confidence, and opening doors to life-changing opportunities. One of the most meaningful ways to be part of this mission is through our Personal Stylist Volunteer Program—an inspiring, hands-on experience that’s open to individuals and teams alike.
Whether you come solo or with colleagues, this volunteer opportunity gives you a front-row seat to transformation. As a stylist, runner, or presentation wrapper, you’ll work directly with young adults preparing to enter the workforce—many of whom are overcoming significant life barriers. You’ll help them look the part, yes—but more importantly, you’ll help them feel the part.
Why It Matters
Every session is more than just a wardrobe fitting—it’s a moment of empowerment. Many of the youth we serve are participating in job readiness programs across Orange County and facing their first job interviews. The right outfit can be the bridge between self-doubt and self-belief. Your support—whether you’re helping select a blazer, offering words of encouragement, or wrapping up a polished look—plays a crucial role in helping them step into the future with confidence.
Volunteer Your Way
We offer flexible half-day and full-day shifts for July, with multiple opportunities available from July 1 to August 1. These opportunities allow you to give back in a hands-on, impactful way, whether you’re volunteering solo or bringing a team.
- Individuals who want to give back in a meaningful, impactful way
- Corporate or community teams looking to build camaraderie through purpose-driven service
You’ll take part in:
- One-on-one and small group styling
- Wardrobe preparation and presentation
- Backroom support to keep sessions flowing smoothly
No prior fashion experience required—just a passion for helping others!
