2007 Men's Day of Self Esteem Photo Gallery
SponsorsMany, many thanks to all the sponsors who played a role in the 10th annual Men's Day of Self-Esteem: Continental Sales Company, FedEx, Orange County Touch Foundation, Men's Wearhouse, Nordstrom, Paul Mitchell The School, Trofi Restaurant at the Doubletree Hotel in Orange. It was a wonderful event that touched the lives of 119 men who are emerging from crises and committed to their futures!
"To all of the Community Donors: Thank you so much for an incredible day. I look forward to presenting the 'new me' to prospective employers. Sincerely, Darin Graham." Setting the SceneThanks to very generous donations by the Men's Wearhouse, many corporate clothing drives and individual donors, the room was transformed into a stunning men's department with more than 1,000 brand new and gently used suits, shirts, ties and shoes.
The Arrival119 men from 8 social service agencies throughout Orange County, Los Angeles and the Inland Empire arrived ready for the day! This was the most men we ever served during our Men's event and we thank our partner organizations for their commitment and participation!
The TransformationCynthia Stewart from the Men's Wearhouse summed it up when she said: "Clothes don't make the man, they bring out the man!" We couldn't agree more! "To everyone involved in this project: As recovering alcoholics and addicts we are not often shown this or any kind of kindness or respect. This is another step in regaining our self-respect and self-esteem and I thank you! God Bless all of you, Kevin C."
The Finale! In addition to celebrating the wonderful new looks and great career connections that happened during the day, Working Wardrobes also presented a few of our dear friends with special recognitions. George Zimmer and the Men's Wearhouse Cynthia J. Stewart of the Men's Wearhouse Norm Rodich
