Dear Friends, We are just a few short days away from the 18th annual Women's Day of Self-Esteem! I am always so excited leading up to this event and looking forward to seeing more than 250 of our wonderful volunteers this Sunday! And that's not the only event we have right around the corner! The third annual Baubles, Bangles and Bags high fashion high tea event is Sunday, June 1. You will have enjoy a high tea, boutique shopping and a moving Story of Success. Thank you to everyone who signed a letter of support for last year's appropriations request before Congress. We have been making wonderful connections with our Congressional representatives and they tell us how important it is to hear from YOU! We have re-submitted our request for 2009 appropriations funding. Receiving this appropriations request would be monumental for Working Wardrobes and would have a profound impact on the number of new communities and new clients we would be able to reach! We so appreciate all of our friends, both in California and other states, who support this effort and know that our success is their success. The opportunity to effect change in thousands of lives is at your fingertips! Please join us in a letter-writing campaign supporting our request. Last year's signatures are no longer valid, so you can sign it again! And, please sign from both your home and work zip codes as it will target different representatives. It takes just TWO MINUTES of your time to visit our Take Action page and sign a letter. You have the power to change lives ... spread the word!

This is a wonderful ongoing partnership of which we are most grateful! Each month we offer a "wish list" of items that you might have around the home or office that could be put to good use by our staff and clients. And each month, we have wonderful friends who step forward and help us cross these items off our list.
