Career Development Center
The Career Development Center (CDC) is now open and fully operational!
The addition of a Career Development Center, with full-time Manager of Career Development, represents the most significant expansion of services in Working Wardrobes 17 years!
The CDC Services include:
Assessments: Individual career assessments offered both online and in hard copy to determine individual strengths and occupational interests.
Career Resource Library: Access to books and instructional aides on career choices, resumes and cover letters, challenges for targeted populations, interviewing tips, and networking skills.
Computer Lab: Access to computers and the internet to conduct an online job search, post a resume, and conduct research on industries, companies and job trends.
Individual Appointments: Meet with a career coach to discuss individual skills, interests, and job leads; create a resume; or complete a job application.
Job Postings: Job opportunities with local employers who have immediate openings.
Retail and Customer Service Training: Certified training in retail and customer service through the National Retail Federation offered to clients and corporate partners.
Working Wardrobes University: Continuous workshops offered to clients and corporate partners on The Power of Your Image, Resume Writing, Interview Skills, Life Skills, Financial Responsibility and Budgeting, Job Search, Career Planning, Transferable Skills, How to Complete an Employment Application, Social and Business Etiquette, and others.
