Camp Pendleton Power Up for Success Event
March 10, 2017 

Participants 8:30 am – 4:30 pm | Volunteers 11:00 am – 4:30 pm

 Pacific Views Center, Camp Pendleton

   

We are seeking Camp Pendleton active duty service men who are preparing to make the transition into the civilian workforce within 6 months of the March 10 event date. 

The event includes services, tools and resources designed to equip you for professional success in the civilian workforce.

The schedule:

8:30 am—Registration & Breakfast

9:00 am—Welcome

9:30 a.m.—True Colors Assessment

True Colors Assessment- Identify your skills and strengths that are unique to you. Find out how others see you as you receive an in-depth report describing your behavioral tendencies and interactions with others. You will also receive powerfully effective methods for helping you succeed with people who have a different True Colors Spectrum.

11:00 am—Lunch!

12:00 pm—Afternoon Activities:

  • Onsite career coaching with Aerotek including assistance with LinkedIn profiles, resumes, interviewing, job search advisement and military transition resources.
  • Military veteran career panel. An opportunity to discuss your transition and the civilian workforce with successful professionals in a variety of industries
  • Professional wardrobe selection with the help of personal shoppers. Includes one suit, one pair of dress slacks, two dress shirts, two ties, one pair of dress shoes and one belt for each participant.

4:00 pm—Event Finale
